BK Vomit Burger

Today, I had a little extra money (not really, but it seemed that way) so I treated myself to a BK lunch. I ordered some Loaded Combo Steak Burger. It was HUGE... I eagerly unwrapped it and took a bite... YUCK I thought to myself. This tastes like A1 Steak Sauce vomit with some really bad mashed potato bottom of the pan scrapings. I quickly ate a few fries and took a sip of my raspberry iced tea. So I went back for more... YUCK again... this time I had to look in to see what I was eating. I still don't know... it is a sort of white gravy, potato, A1 Steak Sauce and vomit mix. Every bite I made sure to eat french fries and have a sip of tea... the tea which I quickly ran out of was 97% ice, 2% air and 1% raspberry iced tea. It was at this point I had to consult Mindy about this situation. She had one but not the "loaded" model... At this point I ditched the top bun all together. I really can only say, I have never had such a horrible burger in my life... DO NOT TRY IT... The picture says it all!

Olympic Gymnasts Congratulate Each Other

Gymnasts

After an easy win, two gymnasts congratulate each other over so easily winning the Gold...  They are going out to celebrate over a dinner of really gross raw things, then they will have their afternoon nap. The gymnast on the left, Moon Pie Poo says enough of the paparazzi...  he doesn't have his passport with him. BUT he assures the press he is nearly 20 years old! Seen with his twin brother Why Ne Poo, they plan on going into the family business of lead processing for the global market. They some day dream of making all the future Olympic medals at their lead plant.

Memorial Day Saturday

Well, it has been quite a day. I woke up as normal to very odd dreams about my Aunt Helen's death. It was one of those surreal dreams where everyone is there in a cameo appearance, including dead people. Then you wake from the dream only to go back to it a few more times. We were helping my Uncle John assimilate to Aunt Helen's death. The house was set after set of stairways that went no where, although in real life their house did have a set of steps like this. Imagine my excitement when I found my aunt's photography equipment. Mint condition Kodaks of all ages with film, flashbulbs, flashcubes and instruction books and outdated film coupons... a photographer's treasure! Finally I decided to actually get up and get out of this dream cycle. I will go out and weedwack the yard!

I got some mail that instantly put me in a foul mood. The content of the mail is wrong, yet I have to wait till Tuesday to get it resolved. I swear they send it to come on a long weekend so you have time to cool down before dealing with them. The dirty rotters!

My next experience was at WalMart. I know this is spelled incorrectly, but I don't seem to have a star to put between the Wal and Mart. I had to park out in Cambodia and make my way to the store as the lots were totally full. I grabbed a cart with a defective wheel that made a buzzing noise as I made my way through the isles. Luckliy, I got the last huge container of Amish Macaroni Salad... it is SO yummy... then to the buns, baked beans, charcoal and lighter fluid. I was shocked to get into a line that only had one person in it and they were already paying for their order!!! My check out chick was in her late 70's (at least) she was wonderful and very cheerful. We chatted about the two bags of charcoal being saran wrapped together making them almost impossible to move around easily... she told me they had been doing that for about three years now. I made my way out to my car and headed back into the traffic.

I stopped to get Doug a Chicken Wrap from Wendy's (which was oddly yummy) baked potato and chocolate frosty... Now I can't get back into the lane of traffic I needed so I ended up going by Judi Allio's house (my vice president at the museum) and she was out weeding. We ended up chatting about 25 minutes about the museum and the incredible state our country is in... The General Fund letter has had a very good response and some ultra generous donations have already been made. Judi thinks that people are giving to us even during these hard times to keep the way life used to be alive. You can go into the museum and forget that the "real" world exists.

I got home, put away the groceries, got Doug his meal and got back to the porch when my youngest niece Amelia drove by. She turned around and sat on the porch to eat her lunch. She is off to a wedding reception that her in her own words "boyfriend" was best man in... We had a nice visit.

I must take some pictures for Jessamyn my middle niece that is in Romania for the next few weeks. I need to really think out some pictures to send... I have a couple in my head already.

Well, I should go now and get a few things done... like the bulletins for church tomorrow...

bla, bla, blog...

The Romanian Stamp

I bought this on ebay a while back. It is a Romanian stamp celebrating the United States Bicentennial in 1976. My favorite year of all! Being mostly Romanian, I had to buy it.

Jeffamyn

My littlest middlest niece Jessamyn and Jeff (hence Jeffamyn) got engaged on Saturday May 3rd, 2008! Today she is leaving for Romania for a 5 week missionary trip. They grow up too fast! :( They set the date for Saturday, December 20th, 2008... so much to do and really so little time... Yikes!

Zeb sleeping, and trees that need trimmed

Wow... I never realized how much the trees needed trimmed till I looked back at these pictures! With the heavy winds this past weekend, the trees in front of Terri's house never moved while other trees were swaying... the top picture is Zeb doing one of his favorite things... I do miss him...
